Comments

  • Use Arrowroot powder (muscovado starch) rather than cornflour as the sauce thickener to give a clearer look to the sauce.

  • Very wholesome served with Gressingham duck breasts.... I put some of the juices from the cooked duck into the sauce to add additional flavour.... Went down a treat

  • I've made it with sugar cane juice (No need for corn flour and sugar) , orange juice and zest, little lime juice, a small slice of fresh ginger and chili.
Just add the sugar cane juice after boiling. It will thicken very quick.
    Delicious!!!!

  • Went home after shopping only to totally forgot to buy oranges! Luckily I had a tin of mandarins, some leftover orange juice, and corn flour (to thicken). I added slices of fresh ginger, a drop of white wine vinegar and some pepper...viola 'emergency'duck orange sauce made!

  • I understand the pineapple, but I'm a Diabetic, so have to manage sugar levels, dropped the sugar, pineapple juice and Marmalade, added zest and juice of half a lime.. We, my family (Who suffer for my excesses, enjoyed it!)
