How to cook Venison Steak

Step by step instructions
Pan fry from chilled. Remove all packaging. Season the venison steaks with salt and black pepper, if desired. Heat a little oil in a non-stick pan over a medium-high heat on the hob. Place the steaks into the pan.
Pan fry the steaks for 5-6 minutes each side for medium rare, 7-8 minutes each side for medium, depending on how you like your venison cooked.
Rest the venison steaks for 2 minutes in a warm place before serving. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
