Production Operative – Debach
JOB TITLE: Factory Production Operative, PM Shift – DEBACH SITE
Pay Rate: £9.00 per hour + overtime rate for over 40 hours
Hours: 14:30pm – 23:00pm (Monday to Friday)
Reporting: Line Leader

Following a successful probation period you will automatically be given the opportunity to embark on a development programme to gain a recognised qualification providing you with the skills to progress within the Company. To support this we can also provide English lessons free of charge as part of your development. We have a dedicated training team in place to ensure you receive the best training that we can offer.

Your main responsibility is to ensure our customers products are produced to the highest quality, and delivered in time, in a safe manner, and in line with your training and the support of your line leader and manager. In order to achieve this we expect you to be ready to start work on time and be wearing the protective clothing provided by the Company for the specific task you are carrying out.
We need you to be willing and adaptable to work in all areas across production.
We want you to be safe and for that reason no horseplay will be tolerated and we expect you to act sensibly at all times to ensure accidents do not occur. It is very important that we protect the health, safety and well-being of all staff on site.
We need you to use the correct tools required for your position, ensuring that any faulty equipment including your PPE is replaced if necessary and cleaned at the end of each day.
Good personal hygiene is also very important and helps to support the highest levels of food safety. Food Safety Training is provided, and you are expected to adhere to this training at all times.
We want you to approach any training in a positive manner, and get involved in any opportunities to help improve Gressingham. To actively support health and safety, reporting any issues identified, however small, and ensure any rubbish is disposed of in the correct manner.
