HR RESOURCE ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS

 

BASED AT DEBACH SITE (NEAR WOODBRIDGE) – START DATE 4TH OCTOBER

 

Gressingham are looking for one reliable and enthusiastic Resource Administrators to support their Debach site during the Christmas Campaign.  Temporary Contracts to 24th December 2021

 

Hours per week: 

From 4th October – 40 hpw – 8.30am to 17.00pm (Mon to Fri)

From 8th November – Up to 60 hpw –Times to be agreed (Mon to Sat)

 

Pay Rate : £9.70 per hour – Overtime paid for all hours worked over 40 @ X1.333 PLUS an attendance bonus of £1,000 paid at the end of the Christmas Campaign.

 

ROLE

As part of a wider team, you will support the HR department in updating the time and attendance system for our production operatives during their busy campaign and support the HR Department in processing employees HR requests, along with the following:-

 

  • Maintain employee records
  • Organize, compile, update company personnel records and documentation including time keeping records
  • Update HR databases (e.g. new hires, holidays and sick leaves)
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data, like absences and payroll data
  • Process employees’ requests and provide relevant information
  • Manage the department’s telephone calls and address queries, accordingly, diverting them to other members of the team where required
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal communications
  • Provide orientations for new employees by sharing pre-populated induction information
  • To assist the on-site HR team with other personnel duties to support the Factory Management Team as and when required

 

SKILLS

The role will involve you liaising with staff where English is not their first language, and therefore need to have patience in dealing with their queries.  Other skills required as follows:-

 

  • Ability to effectively use computer software including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and HR software. HR software training will be provided, but experience in Excel, Word and Outlook are a necessity
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude
