Summer Sides

BBQs and Al Fresco diningare a great way to bring the whole family together, the meat usually forms the centrepiece of the Al Fresco feast but don’t forget about the side dishes! We have found some great salad and dip ideas that are simple and will not take too much time to prepare. Firstly some of our own recipes …

For this healthy side dish chop up carrots, red cabbage, pepper, onions and garlic – add in some ginger, sesame oil, fish sauce, lime and mixed leaves and toss together. CLICK HERE for the full recipe.

Mint yogurt is a great dip for kebabs and it is so simple to make. Simply add 1 teaspoon of mint sauce to 150g of Greek yoghurt and voila you are ready to serve!

A juicy Asian salad that goes well with smoky, BBQ flavours. Mix together cooked rice noodles with spring onions, mango, red pepper, coriander and mint. Add a dressing of mixed fish sauce, rice vinegar, lime juice, sugar, chilli, garlic and sesame oil. CLICK HERE for the full recipe.
