Everything you need for a romantic date night dinner at home this Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day doesn’t always mean going out for a posh dinner with your other half, sometimes staying in and having a date night dinner in the comfort of your own home can be just as romantic. So, we’ve gathered some ideas to help create a romantic meal this Valentine’s Day.

Setting

If you have children, organise a relative to have a fun sleepover with them for the night so that you can avoid any interruptions during the evening. It’s also a good idea to switch off televisions, and anything else that may distract you, but keep the romantic music playing, that shouldn’t be a distraction!

We recommend setting the table with fancy tableware that will impress your other half. Take out those luxury glasses you keep stored away all year round, use your best cutlery and dress the table with romantic candles, flowers and your partners favourite drink ready to pour. If you want to be extra romantic, then scattered rose petals on the table and around the area is essential!

Oh, and don’t forget to treat your partner with a little valentine’s gift, even if it is just their favourite chocolates or a little something they’ve been wanting for a while.
