Here at Gressingham, we're proud to be part of a region renowned for its beautiful countryside, history, culture and gastro delights.

Closer to home, we're proud to be able to support many local teams, schools and charities in the way of sponsorship and donations. From marathons and desert treks, to rugby clubs and football clubs, to awards of excellence and student sponsorship - it's all going on! This is our way of giving something back to the communities who we live and work alongside, and from whom we are very proud to employ many of our staff.

Charity Events

Every year the company fundraises for two chosen charities and the amount of money raised is kindly double by Geoff and William. In 2018, the chosen charities were Parkinsons UK and Teenage Cancer Trust.

Fundraising events in 2018 included a monthly lucky square and raffle, Great Gressingham Bake Off, Outdoor Cinema, Clay shoot and a Golf Day – where Royce raised money by attending dressed as a duck!

The total raised to date is £6641 including contributions from the directors Geoff and William Buchanan.

Local Sports

This Year, Gressingham entered a team of 7 runners to take on the 10K around the town road run in Woodbridge. All Gressingham runners successfully finished the circuit with Colin Smith being our quickest runner completing the 10k in 51.56!

Gressingham also support local sports teams with banner ads and match ball sponsors. A few to name are Woodbridge Rugby Club, Diss Rugby Club and Wickham Knights.

Suffolk Food and Drink Fund

The aim of the Food and Drink Fund is to support charitable activities addressing local needs, particularly those where there is a direct link with food and drink. The Foundation’s Hidden Needs Report identified that over 83,000 people in Suffolk live at the most minimal standard provided by welfare benefits. The Food and Drink Fund plays a vital role in helping to address local needs throughout Suffolk.
